§ Newly Trained BSG Demonstrators Barbara, Lianne and Julie have now attended their demonstrator training and are available for bookings. They have yet to be accredited, but are well on their way with some assessment demonstrations already been booked. Should anyone be interested in becoming a BSG Demonstrator, then we can highly recommend this. The weekend training is loads of fun and builds your confidence. Come on members - give it a go.
§ BSG LOGO - The BSG circle logo must only be used for official BSG business. A lot of members started to add the logo to their websites and National committee require that members should remove it. After several people asked what could they have to show membership a web logo was created for members to put on their websites. Members can also show the National website address for people to go to. If you need the new logo please use the contact email and we will forward it to you.
§ AZO_free colours: As of 20th July 2010 the following food colours (known as the 'Southampton List' or non AZO-free colours) in any food product, including chocolates, will require a mandatory warning on your ingredients label. Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008.
§ Website Events Diary - This diary has now been created. You can find a lot of new stuff of the website, including photographs of the Region 4 Table display from CAKE 2010 and also an article of the wonderful display of a Tropical Rainforest, created by our very own Birmingham Branch. Click on the side menu bar of the website this will open up sub-menus which will link to other articles too. Please take a good look around.
§ INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION 2012 - After a lot of discussion between National Committee and BSG Members, it has finally been announced that we shall be re-introducing the BSG International Exhibition. This will take place at the International Centre in Telford on 19th and 20th May 2012. We have now created our own web page, within our website which will keep you up to date with developments as they occur. Tickets and Competion Schedules are now available online at www.bsguk.org
§ WANTED: Galley photographs, branch programmes and details of events are still wanted from our members. If you are a Programme Secretary and have not yet submitted your 2012 programme for inclusion, please do so as soon as possible.
